Do you want to land more interviews? Most portfolios get eight seconds with a hiring manager. Let's make yours the one that earns the next eight minutes.
When a hiring manager opens your portfolio link, they're not reading — they're scanning. In the first few seconds they decide whether to keep going or close the tab. Your portfolio isn't just a collection of work; it's the first design deliverable they evaluate you on. It signals your thinking, your range, and your professionalism before you say a word in an interview.
Be honest: most portfolios are interchangeable, and that includes a lot of genuinely good designers. The ones who land interviews treat it as their primary sales tool. There's a direct line between portfolio quality and the number of callbacks you get. Recruiters and hiring managers can't meet everyone. Your portfolio is how you get on the short list.
Average time a hiring manager spends before deciding to keep reading or move on
Portfolios are screened before résumés at most design-forward companies — no link, no consideration
The majority of rejections happen at the portfolio review stage, not in the interview room
Mid-level designers stuck at the same title for 2+ years, watching opportunities pass while the portfolio stays quiet.
Self-taught or bootcamp grads who've never had a portfolio audit from someone who actually does the hiring.
Designers re-entering the job market after a gap or layoff who need to come back stronger than before.
We dissect your current portfolio like a hiring manager would. No sugarcoating.
Define your narrative, target role, and the story your portfolio needs to tell.
Restructure your top 2–3 case studies for clarity, impact, and depth.
Refine typography, hierarchy, and presentation so your work actually lands.
Twice-weekly group sessions for real-time feedback from peers and your coach.
Exit with a portfolio that's ready to submit — and a playbook for future updates.

Learn more about WonWon is one of those teachers who can change your life — if you let him. He changed mine. In my four weeks of working directly with Won, I've grown more as a designer than I have the past year, and I owe a lot of my progress to him. Brutally honest, constructive feedback and high expectations. He's going to tell you exactly why your design could use more work — he's not going to tell you it's good when it's not. But when he does, you know you really nailed it.

Won has always been at the cutting edge of everything digital. I consider him a rare digital breed, as he possesses creative and technical skills all in one package — great design skills and a very detail-oriented eye, especially when it comes to motion. Combine that with expert-level development skills and you get Won. He is passionate about his work and will not settle for anything but perfection. If you're looking to push the envelope with your digital project or team, Won is a must.
Noel Artiles
Won is a tremendous design thought leader. He consistently demonstrated a strong understanding of user-centric design principles and a passion for creating intuitive, engaging experiences. I was impressed with his sharp skills at every step of the design process, from initial conception to experiment launch. He's passionate and eager to take on new challenges. I highly recommend speaking and thinking with Won on your next user experience adventure.
Franklin Horn
Won is an incredibly talented creative, and I have had the privilege of witnessing his growth as a design leader over the years. What I love most about working with Won is his discipline, his calibrated cadence in delivering work, and his level of excellence when that work goes live. His support has been essential to the success of the teams I have led, and I definitely recommend him first to my network.
Michael Chiong
Won is not only one of the greatest design leaders in the world, but he is also one of the most important people to learn from. I wouldn't be where I am today without having him as my mentor.
David E. Sims
Won is one of the most talented and capable designers I have had the pleasure to work with. He has an acute eye for detail and a thorough understanding of design trends and styles. Beyond outstanding design skills, Won has the ability to take a vision and turn it into a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing digital experience. It is very rare to find the talent and ability Won possesses, along with the attitude and confidence he emanates as he works through projects.
John Jones
Won has the very rare ability to see products at both the micro and macro level. He understands every detail and worked with our team to isolate the pieces that could be improved for maximum impact. As a leader, Won shows great respect for those he manages. His critiques are pointed and actionable, giving designers the opportunity to improve their process and skills. My continued success as an experience designer is due in large part to learning from and working alongside Won.
Rob Stone
I've never had a manager quite like Won. His ability to understand design, technology, and business holistically is rare, and it helps him lead teams and design products that push the entire company forward. With a high bar for excellence, he mentored me from someone relatively new in the field to thinking strategically about design beyond what I thought was possible. He's been a critical part of my career, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
John Cheng
Won is a dedicated mentor who encourages quality and thoughtful design. He distills his experience with clear communication, always taking the time to show examples of design concepts. Any question related to understanding the developer side of things is always answered. Thank you, Won!

Portfolio Lab is built around shaping work you've already done, so it's ideal if you have at least 3 projects (client or spec) to draw from. If you only have 1 or 2, you can still sign up. Just know that the less work you bring, the less we have to shape, so interview results aren't guaranteed for lighter portfolios. Starting from zero? Ship a project or two first, then come back when you've got something to work with.
Designers at any level who can commit at least 6–8 hours a week and already have projects to showcase. Level matters less than focus, time, and material to work with.
If you complete week 1 and don't feel it's right for you, we'll refund in full. And if you finish the course, apply everything we covered to your portfolio, and still aren't seeing results after 30 days — we'll personally work with you to figure out what's going on.
